Super Bowl ads - Giants win SuperBowl

Well what did you think of this game? I am not a fan of either team (mine Detroit Lions and San Fran 49ers). I thought it was pretty boring really up until the last drive by the Patriots which put them ahead by 4 points. Then when Eli Manning found David Tyree who made a spectacular catch downfield to continue the 12 play 83 yard drive for a touchdown to Plaxico Burress to put them ahead and give them the win. To see the shock on the Patriots faces! I am just happy to see the Patriots lose, I knew from about 3 games into their undefeated regular that they would be beat sometime in the playoffs if not during the regular season. But who thought that the New York Giants would be the ones to beat them? Well congrats New York Giants, it was a well deserved win.

Super bowl ads missed one or some goto this page to view SuperBowl Ads, most were pretty dumb, is anyone else sick and tired of seeing lame Bud Light commercials? I liked the Coke parade. The one Bud Light one with the foreign guys trying to get a date, Also the one with Shaq being a jockey, I kind of laughed. 2.2 million dollars per ad, don't you think that money would go a lot further by putting it towards making your employees happy, maybe a raise, remodeling the employee lounge, give more money to charity, something other than waste on a 30 second ad. I think people used to care about the Superbowl ads years ago but now could care less, but maybe I am being facetious.

Cheesecake, what a wonderful food. I was just finishing up the last few pieces of cheesecake, yes the last few, meaning I had more than one slice, so I decided a slice would become a good painting. Who doesn't like cheesecake? Not many I believe, well here it is a painting of the last piece which I ate and it tasted so creamy, rich, and soooooooooo delicious. I hope you all enjoy this one.

Olives, a food I really don't like, but I was talking to someone about them the other day and thought they would make a good subject to paint. It doesn't hurt that green is my favorite color either. To all you olive fans, I hope these look good enough to eat.

This is my friends Chihuahua dog, she is a long haired chihuahua. I took a picture of her while she was starring out the window at a squirrel. She loves to bark at squirrels and goes nuts, barking and running around the house when she notices them outside.

Hello my name is Steve Jurmu and this is my blog. Here I will be posting different paintings I complete everyday. They are a highly collectible item right now throughout the world with art collectors. Most of my "a painting a day" pieces will be on small canvas board in the size of 5"x7". I will try my best to complete a new piece a day throughout the weekdays. I look forward to this, it seems like it will be fun and challenging, as it is harder to work on such a small canvas, but I am looking forward to it. I was inspired to do this by seeing Duane Keiser's work. He is the one who really started this phenomenon.
